WADA

About

The Origin of the Name

The name WADA emerges from the convergence of capital, philosophy, and creative authorship.

“WADA” derives from We Are Dark Angels, the long-running production identity developed by Deantoni Parks and Nicci Kasper, with the institutional architecture of the collective shaped by Jason Wiesenfeld's background in law and economics.

Conceptually inspired by Jim Morrison's notion of music as “the sound of angels telling the truth,” the name reflects WADA's core philosophy: sound as revelation and cultural transformation rather than entertainment alone.

Together, WADA brings legacy, imagination, and experience into a contemporary cultural framework, positioning music as a living archive for the 21st century.
